The Uniform Shop closes Friday 29 November 2024 so please place any orders for this year prior to that date via the Munch Monitor system. Orders placed after 01/01/2025 via Munch Monitor will be processed on Wednesday 5 February and items will be available for collection from the school office in the afternoon only. (1pm-2.30pm).

What are opportunity classes?
Opportunity classes are offered in primary school from Years 5 to 6.
There is also an online opportunity class for students in rural and remote areas. Students attend a local host school and complete their maths and science and technology lessons online through Aurora College.
Parents/carers apply for opportunity class placement when their child is in Year 3 and can apply up until 21 February 2025, when their child is in Year 4.
What are selective high schools?
Selective high schools are offered in high school from Years 7 to 12. Parents/carers apply when their child is in Year 5 and can apply up until 21 February 2025, when their child is in Year 6. There are 4 types of selective high schools:

Enrolments are open for students starting Kindergarten in 2025. Please visit our school website and use the enrolment tab to apply. Enrolment - Strathfield South Public School (nsw.gov.au). The school will then contact you to let you know the next steps.

You need to take extra care when driving and parking in school zones. Make sure that you and your child understand the road rules. If you break the traffic rules in a school zone you are putting not only your child but other children at risk. The parking and traffic rules around our schools are there to protect your children. If you break the rules you will be fined. Please choose safety over convenience
