Child Safety/Pastoral Wellbeing

St Mary's Primary School is committed to the safety and welfare of all children, within a secure environment. All children have the right to be treated with respect and to be protected from abuse and harm.

Social and Emotional Wellbeing Survey

Students from Years 2-6 will be completing a social and emotional wellbeing survey. As part of our school’s ongoing commitment to creating a safe and supportive environment for your child, we will conduct the ACER SEW (Social Emotional Wellbeing) survey in Week 10. 

The survey explores 9 key domains around students’ social and emotional wellbeing.

Feelings and Behaviours (i.e. levels of happiness, self-identity, behaviour and relationships)

Internal Strengths (i.e. self-awareness and self-management of social, emotional, learning and values). External Strengths (i.e. the impact of positive influences at school, home and in the community.

The information from the survey provides feedback to continue to provide safety and wellbeing for all students within our school.
