Home Reading

Dear ANPS Community,

Thank you for the continued support with home reading. Teachers have been noticing excellent growth in students’ reading and comprehension skills across the school. It has been wonderful to see students developing greater confidence, fluency, and a love of reading through the consistent practice taking place both at school and at home.

Home reading plays an important role in strengthening literacy skills and building positive reading habits. Spending even a short amount of time reading each night provides students with valuable opportunities to practise strategies, expand vocabulary, and engage with a range of texts.
