District Athletics

Carlton Gardens recently sent a team to the District Athletics Carnival. Our students competed against all of the other schools in the district. The staff that went with the students were absolutely blown away by our incredible respect, sporting spirit and manners and are so incredibly proud of how these students represented us. Many people also told its we were the best cheer-ers!

We have 4 students progressing to the division round. Congratulations to Tate (shotput), Sophie (100m hurdles) and Xinzi and Sasha (long jump); this is a terrific achievement and the whole school can’t wait to see how you all do!

We had a large amount of students who narrowly missed moving to the next round but absolutely deserve recognition for their incredible efforts for finishing in 3rd place. They are Sophie, Xinzi and Celine (200m), Xinzi (800m), Thea (1500m), Sid (100m hurdles) and Nabil (discus).

Also a huge shoutout to all of the students who attended this event for the first time; we are so proud of how you put yourselves outside of your comfort zone!
