School Captains' Report

This is the last newsletter entry for this term. The past fortnight at CGPS have been very exciting and eventful! We’ve had the Junior Athletics Carnival, the District Athletics Carnival, and so many of our classes have visited the Museum. We hope you all enjoyed it!

One of the most exciting things this week was the Grade 3’s first camp ever, they're heading to Phillip Island! They will participate in many fun activities like, the giant swing, flying fox, go karting and more amazing fun activities. Let’s hope they have a fun time!

Many students participated in the district athletics day, competing in running, jumping, throwing and more. We had many great schools competing, and 4 students are progressing into Division and are cheering for them to win. The students are; Tate in shotput, Xinxi and Sasha in long jump and Sophie in the 100 meter hurdles.

We have the Junior Athletics Carnival on Friday. Preps, grade 1s and 2s will be attending, having fun and experimenting in activities like three legged races and egg and spoon races and more. We hope you have fun!

Every class visits the museum regularly, each class visiting about one a term. Whenever you go, remember to always be on the lookout for new writing seeds, or a topic/ idea you find interesting. The exhibits might also relate to your inquiry topic, so you can go and visit again!

Thank you for reading this newsletter. Enjoy your weekend!
