Last Friday, the Des Renford Swimming Pool was bursting with energy, excitement, and a whole lot of splashing as STMM students dove into their annual swimming carnival! From speedy sprints to graceful glides, it was a fantastic showcase of the incredible swimming skills and sportsmanship across the school.
Kindergarten, Year 1 and Year 2 students had a blast in the Dome Pool, enjoying water games and free play with huge smiles and laughter. A special thank you to our wonderful past pupil Rosie, along with Ms Shannon, Ms Healy and Mr Begaud, who kindly facilitated the fun and ensured our youngest swimmers had a safe and joyful experience.
While it was a close battle for 2nd, 3rd and 4th place, the Green Team surged ahead and took out the win with a strong lead—congratulations to all team members!
A huge thank you to all the parents who came along to help and cheer. Your support made the day run smoothly and added to the carnival spirit. We couldn’t have done it without you!
A big congratulations to the Year 2 netball team. Throughout term 2 and term 3 they have committed to practice on a Friday morning and have given everything in their games on Saturdays. They have grown in skill and as a team and all the parents have been so proud to watch their growth. We’re looking forward to next year!

Sydney Catholic Schools and Rugby NSW - Girls Clinic
A message from SCS....
Dear Parents,
Sydney Catholic Schools is excited to partner with Rugby NSW to offer a free two-hour rugby clinic for girls in Years 5–10 who would like to come and give rugby a try.
This unique opportunity provides a safe and welcoming environment for girls to get involved in the game, meet Super W players, and learn from accredited Rugby NSW coaches.
Parents will also have the chance to ask questions and learn more about the sport.
What’s included:
A fun two-hour rugby skills clinic
Coaching from Rugby NSW coaches
Meet and greet with Super W players
A free training T-shirt for every participant
