Class Of 2024 Celebration Assembly

On Tuesday 18th February we had the pleasure of welcoming back the class of 2024 to celebrate their achievements and congratulate them on a great VCE year.

Achievement awards were handed to students who excelled in their Units 3/4 subjects and ATAR scores.

Dux recipient, Andre Canales spoke about his year 12 experience, and touched on moments that shaped his journey throughout his schooling.

The 2025 Captain badges were presented. School Captains, Benjamin Wilson and Jules Nguyen with Vice Captain, Charlotte White.

Jules and Ben did their first address showing great enthusiasm for the year ahead.

We had a wonderful turnout from current students from year 10-12 who celebrated the achievements of their peers and gained some insight into the years ahead.

After the Celebration Assembly concluded, the class of 2024 students and parents were invited back to the library for light refreshments.

It was great to see so many familiar faces and to hear what ex-students have been up to or have planned for the future.

Thank you to the Library, Careers and Senior Team for making this event possible.

Class of 2025 Year 12 Morning Tea Breakfast

The sun was out for our annual Year 12 Morning Tea Breakfast hosted by the Senior School team on Friday 21 February.

It was a great turnout of students, parents and guardians showing their support for our year 12 cohort.

Anna Crosswhite addressed the attendees with a strong message to students ‘not to compare yourself with your peers and run your own race’. Anna also touched on requirements for VCAA and introduced the Senior Leadership Team.

Thank you to all families who attended, it was lovely to see the senior families come together, enjoy a cuppa and croissant, and engage in the company of the Viewbank College community.

A special thanks to the Administration and Senior Team.
