Lucas LEAP

This term at Lucas LEAP we have been focusing on movement and active play. The students have been exploring different ways to move their bodies through group routines and dances. The students work together to create sequences of movements that they can perform in sync as a group. It has been wonderful to see their creativity and teamwork.

We have also been enjoying a variety of group games and outdoor activities that encourage everyone to get involved, be active and have fun with other students. Alongside these activities, we have been having conversations about the importance of staying active and looking after our bodies. The children have been sharing their ideas about different ways they like to move and why being active helps us feel healthy and energised.

We are looking forward to continuing learning about movement and active play for the rest of the term
