Courage to Care - Year 6 Incursion

In Term 2, students read 'Once', by Morris Gleitzman and explored themes of kindness, empathy, courage, identity and standing up for others. To support this learning, students participated in a Courage to Care incursion last Friday, the 12th J.

The sessions focussed on, having respectful discussions, human rights, inclusion and the importance of challenging racism and discrimination in all forms. Students also heard amazing stories of resilience and determination from Holocaust survivors’ relatives and family members.
