From the Classroom - M3 (Holly)

This term, the M3 students have been busy learning and growing across many areas of the curriculum.

In Writing, we have been enjoying creating a factual recount about Punch the Monkey. Students have worked hard to sequence events in order, use time connectives, and include interesting facts in their recounts. 

We thoroughly enjoyed our Special Persons Assembly and loved sharing this special event with our families and friends. It was wonderful to celebrate the important people in our lives and showcase some of our learning.

In Maths, we have been learning about fractions. Students have explored halves, quarters and eighths through hands-on activities, games and real-life examples. We have been practising identifying, creating and comparing fractions while developing our understanding of equal parts.
