Principal's Update

Caring Learning Growing: Every Child Every Day

 Dear Families,

Can you believe that the end of the term is already here?

It has been such an incredible term of learning and growth. It has been so lovely to watch our Preps settle so well into school. We are grateful to their buddies who have supported their transition to school in so many ways. Our Buddy Program is a treasured tradition.

As always, I am thankful for the staff who ensure our children have the best learning opportunities and who continue to place the children at the heart of everything we do.

Thank you to all our families for your ongoing support, for the trust you place in us, your preparedness to partner with us, even when challenges arise, and, most of all, for the gift of your beautiful children. Every day they bring us the greatest of joy.

At the bottom of this page, please see the letter that was emailed home regarding our building project. There will be a number of changes as we navigate the build, including the relocation of classes and some changes to routines.  We will continue to communicate these as they occur; however, our primary focus will be on the children and their learning.

As we move into the Easter break, I wish your family a renewing break. At a time when world events are challenging, I offer the following prayer as a reminder of the faith and hope of the Easter season.

May we continue to find joy, and live in faith, hope and love.

Louise

Love overcame

Emerging from a cold tomb

All the truth, majesty and creativity of a living God

Transforming a broken heart

Making a quiet return, in a still and sorrowful garden

The grave stone rolled away, to release redemptive love

Jesus resurrected and restored

Comforts a weeping woman

Speaks with travellers on a journey

Meets with his faithful friends

And they bow down before Christ alive

And acknowledged that the saviour has arrived

That the word of God has come alive

And that the extraordinary transformation of heaven and earth is complete.

BUILDING PROJECT LETTER

Dear Families,

I am writing to let you know that our much-anticipated school building project is about to begin inside our learning spaces. It has already been exciting watching the STEAM building start with the slab, which will hopefully be poured this Thursday. This is an exciting milestone for our community, and we look forward to the improvements it will bring to our learning environment.

As construction gets underway, there will inevitably be some disruption. Parts of the school may be noisier or messier than usual, and some learning spaces will look different or be temporarily relocated. We understand that this may feel unfamiliar at times, but please be assured that careful planning has gone into minimising the impact on students. Please note that, moving into next term, there may also be changes to pick-up and drop-off arrangements, and we will communicate these as needed.

Our teachers are incredibly creative and innovative in their approach. They are well prepared to adapt their learning spaces and to continue providing engaging, high-quality learning experiences. Their focus remains firmly on your children—their wellbeing, their progress, and their love of learning. Teaching and learning will continue without interruption.

While there may be short-term inconvenience, the long-term benefits will be significant. At the end of this project, we will have a modern, inspiring space that will greatly enhance the educational experience for all students.

Thank you for your understanding and support as we move through this exciting period of change. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
