2026 Hume Young Leaders Awards - Nominations NOW OPEN!
We’re excited to announce that nominations for the 2026 Hume Young Leaders Awards are NOW OPEN!
These awards celebrate the incredible leadership and community contribution of young people aged 12-24 in Hume. Nominations are open across a range of categories, including:
- Young Advocacy Leader
- Young Environmental Leader
- Young Refugee / Newly Arrived Leader
- Young Creative Leader
- Young Entrepreneurial Leader
- Young Sports Leader
- Young Aboriginal Leader
- Young Inclusion and Accessibility Leader (new category!)
- Young Group of the Year
One person will also be selected as Young Leader of the Year!
All finalists will be invited to celebrate with family, friends and community at an awards ceremony in September at Town Hall Broadmeadows. Category winners will receive a certificate and $500.
