'Luna Roo' kicks off National Simultaneous Storytime 2026 

On Wednesday 27th May at 12.00 pm, millions of children, parents, teachers and library lovers across Australia and beyond will come together to read Luna Roo at the same time, celebrating the joy of reading, storytelling and connection. Published by Little Book Press the story follows the spirited kangaroo Luna and her friends as they chase their football dreams across the outback, blending action, teamwork and fun to inspire young readers. Luna Roo was selected from 84 submissions from publishers around the country.

At 12pm on the 27th May, all of our students at Mother Teresa will stop and each class will read Luna Roo in support of National Simultaneous Storytime. It's a great way to foster a love of reading in all of our students!

Long Service Leave

I wish to inform you that I will be on leave from Monday 18th May and returning to work on the first day of Term 3. Looking forward to working with you all again then. I hope the rest of Term 2 is a wonderful one for you.
