Consent Labs Years 7 - 12
We warmly welcome the Consent Lab team to our College on Wednesday 10 June and Thursday 11 June to facilitate sessions with our students.
Consent Labs is a national youth-led not-for-profit organisation that empowers young people and their supporting communities to actively change the culture around sexual violence through comprehensive consent and respectful relationship education programs. The workshops align directly with the Rights, Resilience and Respectful Relationships program.
Global research demonstrates that education is a powerful tool in preventing sexual violence.
Each Year Level will attend an age appropriate session based on the following topics:
Year 7: Consent Foundations
Year 8: Consent in the Digital World
Year 9: Healthy Relationships
Year 10: Consent and Intoxication
Year 11: Advanced Healthy Relationships
Year 12: Advanced Healthy Relationships

Daniel encourages young people to recognise and resist distorted attitudes towards bodies, relationships and sex. He invites his audiences to instead aspire to healthy relationships built on mutual respect and empathy.
Daniel will be working with our Year 8 - 11 male students on Wednesday 17 June and continuing his work with our staff that afternoon.
PARENT SESSION: WEDNESDAY 17 JUNE 5:30pm - 6:30pm
