It's time to register for the Fair!

Sustainable greetings to you and your people! 

We're gearing up for the 2026 Uraidla Sustainability Fair and are putting the call out for sustainable stall holders to join us on this glorious day.

When: Sunday March 15, 10am-4pm

Where: Our usual haunt in the beautiful Uraidla Showgrounds 

The format for the 2026 Sustainability Fair will include guest speakers, our "Sustainable Conversations" program, a repair cafe, kids activities, local food, live music and you!

If you'd like to be a stallholder in 2026, we have a limited number of sites available. Applications for a site will be assessed on the nature of your stall (with sustainability being the golden ticket) and the speed of your returned application form.

Applications for a site close on Friday December 12th at 5pm. Our site fees vary depending on your offering, so please see make sure you fill out the relevant application form below. Please note, you must have your own insurance and equipment!

***We also ask that you commit to being Zero Waste on the day. (Any questions about this, just give us a shout and we're happy to guide you).***

Christmas Carols and Community Celebration

 

Practices:

Monday 24th November, Monday 1st December, Monday 8th December 7 - 8.30pm (all adults - neighbours, cousins, nieces and children over 7 keen to sing!)

 

Events:

(the whole family - bring your neighbours and grandparents!)

To gather and sing together grows our community, our wellbeing, fills our cup and brings us joy! Australian Carols, Archie Roach's 'Let Love Rule' and other beautiful carols and a Christmas Story.

We gather to celebrate our special hills community, each other and this beautiful time of year. Come sing with us!

All welcome.

Where: St John's Norton Summit (please park in the church car park below the church, the Summit Community Centre or behind the church, NOT at the pub or blocking the CFS)

Who: Anyone and everyone - no special skills or required! Not just for those with young children - for everyone!

Please: On of the celebration (Sunday and Monday) please bring a cash donation for charity - more info to come!

If you would like to learn the songs and join us for practice (no skills required: we will gather on Monday 24th November, Monday 1st and 8th December from 7.15 - 8.30pm at St John's Norton Summit. 

 

Craft and Chat

What: Craft, tea, nibbles and connection

When: Monday 26th November 7.00 - 9.30pm (come when you can, leave when you like)

Where: Our beautiful new inside space at Playgroup in Ashton

Details: a selection of craft options will be available with all materials provided. There will be support for you to learn how to make simple things for your child, creative play, nature table or for pleasure.

Investment: A craft project please! $45(subsequent projects $5 - $10 depending on size)

History book for sale 

Have you seen the Uraidla book written by local historian Geoffrey Bishop on behalf of the East Torrens Historical Society? It tells the story of the Uraidla township, from the beginning to current day and is a fascinating read!

Books are $35 and there are copies for sale at the Front Office.
