Assistant Principals' Report

Hello and welcome to our newsletter item for this week.
As today marks the beginning of the Winter school holidays we would like to reflect on another fabulous term at HPS.
It was lovely to visit the classrooms over the past few days and celebrate the wonderful work the students have created across the term. It was also lovely to see so many of our parents and carers there as well. This term we have had Year 6 camp, incursions, walks to the park, a visit to look at Warringal’s disability access, Reconciliation Week, sporting events, just to name a few.. It is always busy at our school with the learning, wellbeing and other special events and activities taking place. We would like to express our thanks to all the students for their hard work and resilience this term. The support from their families and of course our incredible staff working as a team allows the students to see success every single day. Well done everyone.
Over the holidays we have a colouring competition featuring Duke our wellbeing dog. Please see Compass to download the sheet. Please write your name and room number on the sheet and post into Duke’s letterbox (outside the AP office) by Thursday 16th July. Winners for all year levels will be announced at the assembly on Monday 20th July. The prize will be decided by Duke in the coming weeks.
Have a fabulous holiday and we look forward to seeing you back on Monday 13th July.
Warm Regards
Helen Thomas & Monique Rankin
