Secondary School Vanuatu Mission Trip
What an incredible and impactful week in Vanuatu! After a safe and smooth journey, our students quickly settled in and embraced every opportunity to learn, serve and connect. From worshipping together at church, swimming at the beautiful Blue Lagoon and spending time in prayer and reflection, the team prepared their hearts for the week ahead.
A highlight of the trip was visiting LifeChanger Christian College, where students joined local classes, built friendships and immersed themselves in school life. They enjoyed exploring the Port Vila markets, experiencing local culture, and presenting donated items and a cheque from the Leighland community to support the school.
Throughout the week, our students participated in service projects, maintenance work around the campsite, classroom activities, and a powerful youth Praise and Worship session. They formed meaningful connections with the local students and experienced firsthand the joy of serving others.
On their final day, the team assisted with a school fundraiser, running activities including face painting, hair colouring, sports games and magnet fishing. Emotional farewells marked the end of a life-changing experience filled with faith, friendship, generosity and growth.
We are so grateful for the opportunity to partner with our friends in Vanuatu and are thankful the team has returned home safely with memories and experiences they will cherish forever.
Secondary MADE Night!
What an incredible evening at our Secondary MADE Night! Students proudly showcased the creativity, innovation, and practical skills they have been developing through their class projects, sharing their learning journeys with family, friends and the wider school community.
From impressive displays and hands-on creations to thoughtful presentations, the night highlighted the passion, perseverance and growth of our students. It was wonderful to see classrooms filled with conversation, encouragement and celebration as guests explored the diverse range of projects on display.
A huge thank you to our students for their hard work, our staff for their support and guidance, and our families and community members for coming along to celebrate this special evening. Events like MADE Night provide a valuable opportunity to recognise student achievement and the many talents God has gifted within our school community.
