Starting Next Week - Trinity Ave After-Hours Road Closures
Weeks 3.8 & 3.9 | Monday, 7 September - Friday 18 September
The College has been notified of upcoming required pipe rehabilitation/relining works that will take place in weeks 3.8 and 3.9, necessitating the closure of Trinity Avenue for vehicles, after-hours between 6.00pm - 6.00am.
When: Monday, 7 September - Friday, 18 September 2026
Monday through Friday only; no weekend works/closures
Trinity Ave closed from: 6.00pm
Trinity Ave re-opens: 6.00am (next morning)
During these after-hours timeframes, entry and exit to the College will be undertaken via the Braithwaite Street gate between the Pavilion and Junior School (TC Gate 4).
It is anticipated there should be limited impact on the TC community during this period, given the works take place after-hours.
We apologise for any inconvenience these works may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding while these essential works are completed by City of Perth contractors.
Wellness Week 2026
What an incredible week of wellbeing, connection, and community! Wellness Week brought together a range of activities and initiatives designed to support the physical, mental and social wellbeing of our students and staff.
The week kicked off with Mindful Monday, featuring the collection for Shopfront, mindful colouring-in, School Ergo Challenge and Healthy Sexuality talks.
Take Action Tuesday saw students head out for a Wellness Walk, hear from Red Frogs, and listen to inspiring talks from Paul Litherland
On Wellness Wednesday, students were able to wear their sneakers for a $2 gold coin donation to the Blue Tree Project. They also enjoyed a Project Momentum presentation and a Zero2Hero presentation.
Thankful Thursday focused on gratitude, with students giving gratitude cards and a coffee to teachers and staff. There was also Junior School Yoga and a sausage sizzle raising funds for the Feed the Children charity.
We wrapped up Wellness Week with Fit Friday where we had Parkour for the Junior and Middle School, Silent Yoga for Year 7 and an Indigenous History and Spirituality walk for the Year 8s and 9s.
Thank you to everyone who helped make Wellness Week such a memorable celebration of looking after ourselves and each other!
Walk Against Domestic Violence
Almost 400 Trinity College Year 11 and 12 students took to the streets in a student-led Walk Against Domestic Violence, standing together to challenge harmful attitudes and promote respectful relationships.
Led by College Prefects Bowie McCabe and Brendan Carrabba, students marched around Boorloo and Matagarup bridges, turning their support into meaningful action and raising awareness of the importance of preventing domestic and family violence. The initiative highlighted the role young men can play in promoting respect, equality and positive relationships within our community.
MRC Garden Donations Needed
We are currently seeking donations to help enhance the MRC outdoor learning area. If you have any pond plants (including Water Lilies, Water Lettuce, Hornwort or Anacharis), grey decorative paving stones, bags of wood chip mulch, or solar-powered garden lights to spare, we would greatly appreciate your support.
Donations can be dropped off at Administration or the MRC. Thank you for helping us create a beautiful, engaging and enriching outdoor space for our students.
Reminder about Gloucester Park
The College enjoys a good relationship with the neighbouring Gloucester Park (GP) facility, often allowing us to hire their parking area/s for large-scale events and special occasions, pending availability. On almost every occasion of pre-arranged parking, this is via GP Gate 7, close to the intersection of Braithwaite Street.
While we understand there are sometimes periods of high demand for parking around the College, particularly during drop-off and pick-up times, families are reminded not to enter the Gloucester Park facility if the College has not arranged/communicated about special parking. This includes the area close to the TC basketball courts (via GP Gates 9 and 10), which is currently booked for long-term WACA staff parking.
The GP team has recently noticed an increase in the number of non-WACA vehicles within this parking area, and has observed them as belonging to TC families and/or students. Moving forward, the GP team will begin recording the details of the offending vehicles, to report back to the College.
Unless the College has provided clear communication to families in advance about pre-arranged parking within the GP facility, please refrain from parking in that complex.
Further, families are reminded not to park in front of the clearly-signed GP gates, as access is required for trainers, horses and floats, and these larger vehicles need more space to manoeuvre in and out through the gates.

Forward Planning for 2027
Families are reminded that, in accordance with the College's enrolment conditions, one full term's written notice is required if a student will not be returning to the College.
If your child will not be returning in 2027, please provide written confirmation to the Registrar no later than Friday, 25 September 2026. Notification should be sent via email to registrar@trinity.wa.edu.au.

Applications for 2029
Early next year, we will commence the interview process for students seeking entry into Year 4 and Year 7 in 2029.
As places in these cohorts are in high demand and fill quickly, we encourage all current families with younger siblings to submit an application as soon as possible if they have not already done so.
Lodging an application early helps ensure your child can be considered as part of the enrolment process and avoids disappointment.
