Catholic Identity

Over the past fortnight, many in our school community, particularly those connected to farming, have faced some challenging weather conditions. We recognise the impact this has had and want to extend our prayers to all affected families.
All Saints Day
This weekend, the Church celebrates two important feasts. All Saints Day and All Souls Day.
All Saints Day is a holy day celebrated on November 1st of each year. This is an occasion of great joy! Through their lives of holiness and their good works, the saints are examples for us of how we, too, can live. The saints can help us in our daily lives as we call on them in prayer to help bring us closer to our loving God.
All Souls Day, celebrated on the second day of November, marks the beginning of a month where we remember all of the people we have loved who have died. We give thanks for the special place they have in our hearts. We also pray that they are with God and at peace.
