Tuesday was an exciting day for our Year 12 students as they marked their final day of schooling. As you may have seen on the college’s Facebook page, they enjoyed a fun-filled celebration to commemorate this important milestone. However, there’s little time to relax, as they are now focused on preparing for their exams, which begin on October 28th with English.
Congratulations to Heidi Start, who won the Javelin event at the recent School Sport Victoria finals. This is an outstanding achievement, with competitors from across Victoria taking part. Well done, Heidi!
A reminder that hats are to be worn when outside during Terms 1 & 4. If your child needs a new bucket hat they can be purchased for $17.50 at the Office.

Regular school attendance is vital for student success. Everyday counts, and missing school means missing out on important learning opportunities. Consistent attendance helps students stay engaged, achieve better academic outcomes and build strong social connections. However, if your child is sick, it is important that they stay home to rest and recover, and to prevent the spread of illness to other students and staff. If your child needs to be absent, I kindly ask that you inform the school.
17 students sat the Australian Mathematics Competition this year. 16 gained proficiency level or higher. So absolutely fabulous results.
Overall, we had 10 students receive certificates of proficiency, 5 certificates of credit and 1 certificate of distinction.

We had one student achieve Distinction level and that was Marley McGurk who was ranked in the top 21% of year 7 students Australia wide.
Congratulations to all students who participated we are very proud of your achievements.
