Community Engagement

Parent & Friends Welcome Evening
A warm and welcoming evening was enjoyed by many parents last Friday night in our beautiful school Hall. It is so important to begin the year with a social evening for parents and staff ensuring that new and current families feel a strong sense of belonging to our incredible community. New families were welcomed, the new P&F Committee are formally acknowledged and introduced and the 2026 teaching staff were introduced. There is always lots of opportunities to connect and get to know new families. Enormous thanks to Jess Nichols, Jess Mount and Tahnee Jones, the Year 5 and Year 6 class reps who led this event, transforming the Hall with lights and candles. Thanks to Dave Crew and Will Cheang, the P & F President and Vice President for their support and for the sense of welcome and celebration they provided. Thanks to all of the parents who supported this first P & F event. It fabulous to have the staff join as well in a very relaxed setting. We hope you enjoyed the evening and met someone new!

Icy Pole Friday
Our School Captains Mia and George will be selling icy poles for a gold coin donation at 3.30pm in the playground each Friday afternoon. Last year the money raised helped to fund the installation of a Gaga Pit! Yesterday our students learnt ho to play 'Gaga Ball' with Mrs King who came in especially to teach each class. Thank you Mrs King! Please visit this new addition to our playground. All money raised this year will go towards improving our school.
