GTAC - 5/6 Incursion

GTAC - 5/6 Incursion

On the 12th of February the Year 5 and 6 students were treated to a visit by GTAC. The STEM incursion was run by the Gene Technology Access Center (GTAC). The students were able to meet and work with real-life scientists to solve problem in a program called "Build a Better World". They used Lego Spike Prime robotic kits to design and build creative solutions for real world issues such as patient care in hospitals, waste and recycling sorting, and heavy construction work.

Everyone had a great time and loved the experience, but the best thing - GTAC left the Lego Spike kits for us to use at school for the rest of the term! We're looking forward to what we can build and create next!
