CBCA 2026 Notables List

The Children’s Book Council of Australia (CBCA) Book of the Year Notables list has been released. Most books in the Older Readers category can be found in the GEC Library. The shortlist will be announced on 31st March.

International Women’s Day

‘Balance the Scales’ is the theme for IWD 2026. The library has a display and we encourage students to explore our great range of books about and written by inspiring women.

Homework Help

Tuesdays & Wednesdays after school in the library (3.15pm - 4.30pm).

Volunteer tutors available for assistance with most subject areas. The library is open every day after school for students except when staff meetings are scheduled.
