Just a reminder to everyone of the Department of Education's policy regarding mobile phones in schools.

Mobile phones that are in class or the yard will be confiscated and stored for collection at the end of the day. Parents will be contacted after the second occurrence. After the third and subsequent occurrences, mobile phone may be collected only by parents/carers.

Cricket Balls are Banned at School
Mullauna College has excellent sporting facilities. We want our students to be active and healthy and to make best use of the opportunities available to them every day. Regarding playing cricket at school, the following guidelines are enforced for the protection of all people on campus.
- For safety reasons students who want to practise cricket at recess and lunch time must use the cricket nets.
- The only variation to this location for cricket is in Physical Education and Sport classes or team practice under the direct supervision of a teacher.
- Regulation hard leather cricket balls are not to be used at school.
- Students may use low injury balls or tennis balls for bowling and batting practice.
- Students bringing their own protective gear to use in the nets is always encouraged.
- At any time, should a student receive a hard hit to the head or the groin, then immediate first aid assistance from the teacher on yard duty and the front office must be sought.
