End of Term Reflection

Dear families,

As we reach the conclusion of another vibrant term, we pause to look back with immense pride and gratitude on everything our students have achieved across our entire school community. It has been a term filled with energy, growth, and wonderful shared experiences.

Our primary students have brought so much enthusiasm to their learning, complemented by a fantastic term of sport. From carnivals and team competitions to lively games on the playground, it has been a joy watching our younger students build resilience, show great sportsmanship, and support one another.

In our secondary school, students have engaged in meaningful experiences beyond the standard timetable. Our Year 8 and 9 students are stepping out on excursions that broadened their horizons and deepened classroom learning; Year 10 are going on work experience to find out what it is like in the workforce, while our Christian Living Days in Week 7 provided invaluable space for personal reflection, faith development, and strengthening peer relationships. We also acknowledge our Year 11 students, who showed impressive focus, maturity, and dedication as they completed their recent examinations.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to you, our families, for your constant partnership and encouragement. School life thrives when home and school walk together, and your support underpins all that we do.

We thank You for the gift of this past term - for the discoveries made in our classrooms, the joy on our sporting fields, and the spirit of community that binds us together.

We thank You for the growth experienced by our students: for our primary children in their play and learning, and for our secondary students during their excursions, Christian Living Days, and examination periods.

As these holidays begin, we ask You to bless all our families with peace and rest. Slow down our busy schedules, protect our students in their travels and recreation, and grant our homes moments of quiet renewal and joy together.

Keep us safe in Your care, and bring us back with refreshed spirits, ready for all that the new term holds.

We invite families to join us for our first Term 4 Mass on Friday, 16 October, 9:30 am at Sacred Heart Church, led by 3D.

Please note the change in Saturday evening Mass times now that the days are getting longer.
