PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

As we reach the final week of Term 3, I want to extend my thanks to all our students, staff, and families for your support throughout what has been an extraordinarily busy term. Looking back across the past ten weeks, it is no wonder that our school community is feeling a sense of deep satisfaction—and perhaps a touch of fatigue!

Celebrating Our Community: Our connection as a school family has been on full display through a wonderfully rich calendar of events. We shared joy and connection during Grandparents' Day and our Father's Day Breakfast, and were treated to incredible creativity during our annual Book Week Parade.

Living Our Faith: At the heart of everything we do is our Catholic identity. This term, we celebrated the sacred milestone of First Holy Communion with our young students, while our Year 8 and Year 9 students engaged deeply during their Christian Living Days. In demonstrating true Christian charity, our school community raised over $1,000 for the Nepalese Flood Appeal—a powerful testament to your generosity. We also marked a beautiful step forward in our daily spiritual routine with the introduction of the Angelus.

Stage 6 Milestones: It has been a landmark term for our Stage 6 project. We officially wrapped up our very first year of Year 11 coursework alongside the completion of their formal end-of-year examinations. Furthermore, Catholic Schools NSW (CSNSW) visited us to review our processes, delivery, and readiness for Year 12. Their feedback on the day was positive, leaving us confident in our ongoing Secondary growth.

Community Representation & Extracurricular Highlights: Our students have proudly represented the school far and wide. From solemnly honouring veterans on Legacy Day and RSL services for Vietnam and Modern Conflicts, to showing sportsmanship at the Rotary Dream Cricket event, our students continue to shine. Add in the art excursion to NERAM to see our finalists, participation in 18 distinct sporting events, chess competitions, and showcase appearances at the Ekka and AgQuip, and the breadth of student involvement has been astonishing.  Our annual Public Speaking Finals for both Primary and Secondary were outstanding. Congratulations to every student in Year 3-10 for making a speech. This action-packed term is now culminating this week with our secondary excursions.

Important Dates & Announcements

• Pupil Free Day (Friday, 25 September): Please note that this Friday is a staff development day. Our teachers and staff will be participating in a spiritual retreat.
• Term 4 Student Commencement: Students return for Term 4 on Tuesday, 13 October.
• Mega Raffle Tickets: Over the break, we ask that families focus on selling their Mega Raffle tickets. All ticket books (sold or unsold) must be returned during the first week of Term 4. With a grand prize of $7,000 up for grabs, it's a fantastic opportunity to support our school!
• Holy Trinity Race Day: Mark your calendars for Saturday, 17 October at the Inverell Race Course. This is a brilliant, relaxed, and safe day out for families to catch up and enjoy each other's company. There will be plenty of simple, fun activities to keep the children entertained, all covered by the purchase of your Mega Raffle ticket.
