NAPLAN

Congratulations to all students who completed NAPLAN.  Whilst we know it is only a moment in time, I am proud that all children tried THEIR best. That’s all anyone can ask! 

I would like to thank Mr Balzary and Ms Soutar, our Year 3 teachers and our Year 5 teachers for the work that goes into implementing NAPLAN online. 

The Podcast is back!

Thanks to Mr Jellie, our LPS podcast is back up and running for 2026!  The purpose of the podcast is to have a chat to a few people in and around the school, talk about some events and get to know staff and students. The podcast is called “You Don’t Put Tomato Sauce On Your Dimmies” and is currently on our website under the “Community” tab.  The first episode for 2026 is up now.

School Council for 2026

We held our first meeting of the new council 2 weeks ago.

Mini Fete

Yesterday’s mini fete was the highlight of the term! What an incredible turn out from the community and we were blessed with wonderful weather on the day!

Our staff, parent helpers and community volunteers worked really hard in the lead up and on the day to create this HUGE event.  My thanks goes out to each and everyone of you!

The smile on kids’ faces, the laughter and excitement and the anticipation of the win (and some losses) on the games was just wonderful to witness.  The kids (and adults) had a ball.

We welcome your feedback from our community events, this helps us continually improve and ensure we are meeting the community needs.  Thanks again to all those that attended.

Easter Bonnet Parade 

We finished the term on a high today with our parade this morning!  It is amazing to see all the creations that come in many colours, sizes, designs and shapes.  Congratulations to all our winners and thanks to Easter Bunny for dropping in for a quick visit.
