Stage 2 News 

Year 3

Year 3 has had a wonderful and busy start to Term 3, with students enthusiastically embracing a range of exciting learning experiences across the curriculum. In English, we have begun exploring the engaging novel Rowan of Rin by Emily Rodda. Students have been developing their understanding of characterisation by examining how authors reveal characters' thoughts, feelings and actions, while making thoughtful comparisons between characters throughout the story. It has been fantastic to see students sharing their ideas and making meaningful connections as they delve into this rich narrative.

In Mathematics, students have been strengthening their multiplication knowledge through a variety of hands-on, collaborative activities that encourage problem-solving and mathematical thinking. We have also launched our new PDHPE programs, with students enjoying gymnastics lessons and participating in the Sydney Swans AFL Schools Program. These sessions are helping students build confidence, teamwork and fundamental movement skills, while staying active and having fun. We look forward to another exciting term of learning and growth ahead!

Year 4

Exciting news from Year 4! This term, our students are diving into the fantastic Zing Gymnastics program. Over the past fortnight, they've been focused on mastering the skill of balance, developing strength and coordination through fun and engaging activities.

 We’re proud of their dedication and can’t wait to see their progress as they continue to tumble, stretch, and grow throughout the term.
