PE & Sports Update

Junior Cross Country

A highlight of Education Week is always the Junior Cross Country.

Held across the road in the parkland, the Foundation and Level 1 students completed 2 laps of the park, whilst the Level 2 students completed 3 laps.

The House captains led the warm ups to ensure students were limbered up and ready for competing and the throng of parent spectators provided plenty of cheering and support. Congratulations to all students who competed and gave it their best and well done to those who received their ribbons at assembly for finishing in the top 5.

Overall, the House competition ended in:

4th: Freeman

3rd: Bradman

2nd: Perkins

1st: Fraser

Monash Waverley Division Cross Country

Congratulations to the 20 students from Level 4-6 who competed at the Monash Waverley Division Cross Country event. The difficult track and wet conditions made it challenging for all students against some tough competitions. Ech child showed excellent resilience and determination while completing the track which are the values we love to see in our students.

Unfortunately, none of our students have progressed through to the next stage but we are all very proud of the efforts they displayed during the event.
