Education Week

What a wonderful week it has been for our Level 1 students as we celebrated Education Week with a variety of exciting and enriching activities!
We kicked off the week with a fun-filled games session, taking on the teachers in Connect Four, board games, downball, and even pickleball! Spirits were high and there was plenty of laughter and friendly competition.
On Monday, we were also treated to 1M’s fantastic assembly presentation, which showcased the students’ confidence and creativity.
Tuesday brought the Junior Cross Country, where our students showed amazing persistence and determination to complete the course – we were so proud of their efforts!
On Wednesday, we enjoyed a special reading session with our Level 6 Buddies, sharing the story The Truck Cat together. After the story, we teamed up to create some adorable bookmarks – a lovely keepsake from a lovely day.
Thursday was all about connections and community. We shared The Biggest Morning Tea with our grandparents and special visitors, enjoying stories, songs, and treats together. Later that night, many students returned with their families for Open Night, proudly showing off their classrooms and work.
Friday wrapped up the week beautifully with our Community Crew session. We explored different cultures and worked on our stunning school mosaics. It was a lovely way to reflect on the diversity and unity within our school.
In class, we've also been busy painting backgrounds to showcase our “Dark Dark” poems and participating in Maths Improvement Groups with a focus on building our addition skills.
Education Week reminded us of how lucky we are to learn and grow together in such a caring, curious, and creative school community!
