News from 6T

It’s been an amazing first 4 weeks for 6T! We’ve been up to so many exciting things, from running Kaboom Sports to taking on our roles as new leaders. Our days have been jam-packed with learning new things, and excitement in and out of the classroom!
In the classroom we have been learning about graphs in Maths, and worked on constructing our own. To kick off H.A.S.T, we began learning about Parliament and Australia’s democracy, which was interesting. We are also excited to begin our class novel, A Ghost in my Suitcase.
But, of course, we can’t miss the real highlight of Term One for Year 6: Canberra Camp! We went to so many places, including the National Dinosaur Museum, Questacon, Parliament House, the AIS, the National Gallery, and the National Arboretum, just to name a few! We all stepped out of our comfort zones, to have fun with our friends, to explore Canberra, learn new things! One example of something fun was the Drop Slide at Questacon, which many people enjoyed!
So far, Term One has been a blast, with so many fun activities, and lots of fun to come!
