2026 - SACRAMENTAL PROGRAM: Sacrament of Eucharist & Confirmation.

Our first meeting is to be held on Thursday 26th February. Other important dates are listed below. Please ensure that you have these dates in your calendar as non-attendance will impact your child's participation.  Fr. Boniface invites sacramental families to attend church at 6:00pm on Wednesday, 20th May, for your child to receive their second Sacrament of Reconciliation. This prepares them spiritually before making their upcoming sacraments. This is an important Catholic tradition, and families are strongly encouraged to attend.

ASH WEDNESDAY - FASTING and ABSTINENCE

Our school community will be attending a whole‑school Mass with the local parish on Wednesday, 18th February at 9:15am. This celebration will be led by our Grade 5 teachers and students.

As this is a day of abstinence, we encourage all staff and students to refrain from eating meat as a sign of respect and participation in this important moment in the liturgical year. Although Friday abstinence is now optional, choosing to avoid meat where possible remains a meaningful practice. It helps students understand the broader spiritual journey that ultimately leads us toward the significance of Good Friday.

THE LENTEN SEASON - PROJECT COMPASSION

This Lent, our school community is invited to be a part of something incredible. Once again, we are called to stand hand in hand with thousands of others across the country and Unite Against Poverty by supporting Caritas Australia’s Project Compassion.

By taking home a Project Compassion donation box, you’ll be answering the Gospels’ call to care for our global family and walk alongside the most vulnerable. Your generosity will enable Caritas Australia to provide life-changing support to communities facing poverty, food insecurity, lack of education and water shortages, while building resilience against future challenges.

Together, through faith and action, we can bring hope and opportunity to those most in need.
