With the worst of winter behind us, we can look forward to the days getting longer and warmer. I encourage everyone to take advantage of the warmer weather by getting some much-needed vitamin D. Vitamin D is essential for our bones, teeth, immune system, brain health and regulating inflammation. The body produces vitamin D as a response to sun exposure. Always remember to protect the skin and eyes from the harmful effects of UV light when outside, though.

As we move forward, please remember that our school calendar is filled with important dates and events. Keep an eye out for upcoming workshops, presentations and awareness days that focus on mental health and wellbeing, designed to further support our students.
