Congratulations to the Entire Cast and Crew of Mamma Mia! 

A massive round of applause to the talented cast and dedicated crew for the outstanding success of this year’s production of Mamma Mia! The musical opened on Friday 7th August, and concluded with a spectacular closing night on Saturday 10th August, after four thrilling performances. The energy, enthusiasm, and brilliant performances have left the entire college and wider community buzzing. Your hard work and passion have truly shone through, creating an unforgettable experience for everyone who attended. Well done to all involved!

 

Subject Selections Completed: A big thank you to all students in Years 9 to 11 for successfully completing their subject selections. This is an important step in planning your educational journey, and your efforts in making thoughtful and informed choices are greatly appreciated.

 

Year 7 and Year 8 Interschool Sports: A big congratulations to all our Year 7 and 8 students who competed with great sportsmanship and dedication in their recent Interschool Sports competitions. Your efforts are commendable, and we’re proud of your achievements.

 

Term 3 is the term of domain celebrations.  The college has celebrated Technology Week, Science Week and Italian Week with Humanities Week and Arts Week still to come! The activities and special events the teachers have prepared for the students to participate in have been engaging, interesting and most importantly...fun!

 

Upcoming Events and Activities:

 

Humanities Week (Monday 26th – Friday 30th August): A week dedicated to exploring history, geography, and the social sciences. Students engage in exciting activities and deepen their understanding of the world around us.

 

Year 8 Medieval Day (Tuesday 27th August - as part of Humanities Week): Step back in time and experience the Middle Ages. Year 8 students will have the chance to dress up and participate in medieval-themed activities, bringing history to life.

 

Year 7 Ancient Worlds Day (Thursday 29th August - as part of Humanities Week): Travel through time as Year 7 students explore the wonders of ancient civilisations. This day promises to be both educational and entertaining.

 

Spring Soirée (Thursday 29th August): An evening of musical delight as we showcase the talents of our students. Join us for a night filled with performances that will surely enchant and inspire.

 

Arts Week (Monday 9th – Friday 13th September): A week to celebrate creativity in all its forms. With a range of fun activities planned, students will have the opportunity to display, explore and express their artistic talents.

 

Year 9 City School (Monday 9th – Friday 13th September): Year 9 students will be heading into the city for an immersive educational experience. This week will be packed with learning opportunities and the chance to explore the urban environment.

 

Year 10 Work Experience (Monday 9th – Friday 13th September): Our Year 10 students will be stepping into the workforce, gaining invaluable experience and insights into potential future careers. We wish them all the best as they take on this exciting challenge.
