Welcome to Term 3!

Welcome to an exciting Term 3!  We hope all of our Grade 5/6 families had a lovely and restful break. It has been fantastic to see the students return to school with enthusiasm - excited to connect with their friends, teachers and the new lessons for this term. They have settled back into school routines smoothly and have returned focused, positive and ready for another exciting term of learning.

We have a LOT to celebrate this term. Amongst other exciting events planned we have - STEM Day and Science week, Book week and the start of our very own musical - Slinky Malinky, based on the books by Lynley Dodds. Wow! Students will have the opportunity of the writing community. We look forward to working on this new project over the term.

Cyber Safety for the Grade 5/6 students will also begin this term.

We are using The Cyber Safety Project alongside our Respectful Relationship Unit. 

The Cyber Safety Project provides the school with digital resources to enable teachers to easily and confidently integrate a comprehensive, termly, online safety and digital wellbeing curriculum into the learning programs. 

All lessons align with state and Australian curriculums and are reviewed each year to ensure they are remain current and reflect the ever-changing digital world.
