Australian Catholic Youth Festival 

Our Year 10 students had an unforgettable experience at the Australian Catholic Youth Festival in Melbourne, joining thousands of young people in vibrant prayer, music, and formation that deepened their faith and sense of community. The journey itself became part of the adventure—travelling to Sydney on the train then on the overnight train to Melbourne, sharing stories, laughter, anticipation and some sleep!  At the festival, students were inspired by powerful plenaries, moved by the quiet beauty of adoration, and uplifted during the Commissioning Mass celebrated with all the Bishops of Australia. They also took part in a memorable 5km pilgrimage walk through the streets of Melbourne, passing iconic landmarks such as the MCG and Rod Laver Arena. The journey home including flying for the first time for some of our young people. Together, the travel and the festival created memories they will carry long after the event.
