Year 5 Learning Update

The Year 5 students have just wrapped up an exciting How the World Works unit, exploring the central idea that 'scientific knowledge is continually developing'. Students took the lead in their learning by choosing and conducting their own science experiments, developing their understanding of scientific investigations and learning how to write a scientific report.

To celebrate their learning, we hosted a Science Convention for their Year 4 and Year 2 buddies, sharing their experiments, explaining their findings and showcasing their scientific knowledge. It was a fantastic opportunity for students to take on the role of scientists, communicate their discoveries and celebrate their learning with others!
