Canteen News

The canteen is operating as usual on Thursdays and Fridays this term. Lunch Menu orders close at 9am on the day, while Sushi and Poke Rice Bowls are available on Fridays only, with orders closing at 9am on Thursday.

Please note that the canteen will be closed on Friday 30 October due to the Curriculum Day.

A quick check before ordering

Before placing a lunch order on Compass, we encourage families to take a moment to check with their student what they would like and confirm what has been ordered. This helps students feel involved and avoids any confusion or disappointment on canteen days. We have noticed an increase this term in students being unsure whether they have a lunch order and, if so, what they have ordered.

With the warmer weather, we have also seen an increase in requests for frozen juice boxes. Please check with your student whether they would prefer a frozen juice and, if so, remember to select the frozen option when ordering on Compass. If this option is not selected, a regular chilled juice box will be provided. This helps our canteen team make sure every student receives the option they are expecting.

A big thank you to all our wonderful canteen volunteers who generously give their time to help out. The students love seeing familiar faces and are always thrilled to be greeted at the canteen window by someone they know!
