BBQs taste better at BBPS (Especially when cooked by our amazing PA)

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

With the scope and timeline of our upcoming building works still unknown following the recent State government funding announcement for BBPS, we want to ensure that funds raised by our current families through our wonderful Parent Association makes a meaningful difference for our students now, while still remaining mindful of future plans for an Exon Playground rebuild.

Here are some of the ways our 2025-2026 fundraising efforts are making a difference:

Creative Campaign: This year’s new school signage, an updated colour scheme and refreshed branding. More to come in 2027 as we rebuild our website.
Student and teacher resources: Writemark assessment program – this has supported teachers to assess and provide feedback on student writing pieces.
Parent Association: new fridge (yay!) and event resources.
Kitchen Garden: completion of wicking bed installation.

And still to come in 2027

Ga Ga Pit: recommended by the SRC, funded by our tea towel fundraiser this year, with installation planned once the location can be confirmed based on the building project.
Windermere Play Equipment: New play equipment for 2027 – we’ll be seeking student input next year, made possible through the success of this year’s mid-year Parent event.
BBPS Community Bus: An exciting project that fits with the ethos of our PA, bringing student groups (such as our choirs) and community groups (including Hamble Court residents and our local kinders) together for events. Watch this space.

Thank you to our families for your ongoing generosity and support. Your contributions help us create opportunities and improve our school for our students exponentially.
