Consent Labs
This week, all students participated in age appropriate workshops facilitated by the Consent Labs team.
Consent Labs is a national youth-led not-for-profit organisation that empowers young people and their supporting communities to actively change the culture around sexual violence through comprehensive consent and respectful relationship education programs.
The team commented how engaged and respectful our students were during these sessions so I would like to thank everyone for their positive participation.
Count down to Daniel Principe!
We are beyond excited to be partnering with Daniel this June!
Daniel is a passionate youth advocate and educator. He champions boys across Australia to challenge culture and aspire to live courageous, respectful and empathetic lives.
Daniel encourages young people to recognise and resist distorted attitudes towards bodies, relationships and sex. He invites his audiences to instead aspire to healthy relationships built on mutual respect and empathy.
Daniel will be working with our Year 8 - 11 male students on Wednesday 17 June and continuing his work with our staff that afternoon.
We are also incredibly proud to be offering our families the opportunity to hear Daniel live in person at our FREE parent session:
WEDNESDAY 17 JUNE
5:30pm - 6:30pm
Oak Centre, Brigidine Campus
The workshop will explore how parents can help their sons to build good character and wellbeing and support the development of healthy masculinity.
If you have a young man in your life you do not want to miss this opportunity.
