Senior School

你 好 (ni hao)

This week has been a busy and rewarding one across the Senior School, with students from Years 3–6 demonstrating enthusiasm, teamwork and a strong sense of community.

In Maths, our students have been loving their recent Fraction Flag task, where maths meets creativity! Using bright colours and carefully designed shapes, students have been creating their own unique flags while exploring fractions, decimals, and percentages. It’s been wonderful to see their excitement as they bring their ideas to life, proudly sharing their designs and explaining the maths behind them. Be sure to look out for your child's work on Seesaw!

A highlight of the week was our School Cross Country held on Thursday. It was fantastic to see so many students challenge themselves, show resilience and encourage one another throughout the course. The positive sportsmanship on display made us incredibly proud, with students supporting their peers from start to finish.

Another standout event was the Year 5 and 6 Let’s TALK performance, held after school for our community. Over recent weeks, students have been working hard to prepare this performance, which showcased their understanding of the Let’s TALK program. Students took on a variety of roles including actors, sound and lighting crew, and marketing, demonstrating impressive collaboration and responsibility behind the scenes as well as on stage. The performance itself was engaging and thoughtful, and it was wonderful to see students confidently sharing important messages with the wider school community.

We congratulate all students involved for their dedication and effort this week, and we thank families for your ongoing support.
