Principal's Report

🌟 Term 4! nearly half way already! 🌟

Dear St A's community.

This week, our Grade 3/4 students are off on camp at Camp Jungai! We hope they have an amazing time exploring the outdoors, taking on new challenges, and most importantly, forming some everlasting friendships and memories.

We are also commemorating Remembrance Day this week. Remembrance Day is a time to reflect on and honour the service and sacrifice of those who have fought and died in wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations. At 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month, we pause for a minute’s silence to remember them.

Last week was an exciting one for our Grade 5/6 students, who took part in a Girls Football Carnival and a Boys Netball Event. Both teams performed exceptionally well, with each placing second overall! A special congratulations to the girls football team, who also placed second in their division – an incredible achievement!

Our Grade 5/6 students also represented our school at the John Paul College Sports Lightning Premiership, competing against other JPC feeder schools. It was a fantastic opportunity to meet other students who will be joining them at JPC next year and to display great sportsmanship and teamwork.

This week, we also began our Prep 2026 Transition Program, welcoming our newest students as they take their first exciting steps into school life. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces ready to start their educational journey with us. Our Prep teachers do an outstanding job each year in preparing and supporting our newest students as they begin their school journey. The transition process is an important and exciting time for children and families, helping everyone to feel comfortable, confident and connected to our school community.

Finally, we would like to wish our Grade 6 Confirmation candidates all the very best as they receive their Confirmation this Sunday. Please keep these students in your thoughts and prayers during this special milestone in their faith journey.

Please note that all school fees are now due, unless prior arrangements have been made with the office.  Next week the 2026 school fees letter will be shared with the community.

Show Grace, Be the Joy for Others, and God Bless.
