In Term 4, a team of passionate LEGO enthusiasts will proudly represent St Mary's College at the Southern Regional First LEGO League Competition, a global STEM challenge for students aged nine to 16 years.
Excitingly, SMC will be co-hosting the event with Devil Robotics on Saturday 8 November 2025. Devil Robotics is calling for volunteers to help make the day a success. If you're a parent, carer or student interested in volunteering, please scan the QR code on the flyer to register your interest.
If you have any questions, please contact St Mary's College STEM Teacher, Ms Catherine Midson, at cmidson@smc.tas.edu.au. More information on the event can be found online at devilrobotics.com
Due to both legislation and policy change the management of student medication (and health) has changed. A reminder that medication must be delivered in the original chemist box to Student Services (no loose sheets) by an adult. Student health issues requiring medication must be noted in Consent2Go with clear information on dosage. Please see the letter attached here for further information.
A reminder that Friday 26 September is a Student Free Day and the College will be closed.

The office will return to normal hours on Monday 13 October (Student Free Day).
During the school term, from Tuesday 14 October, the College office is open from 8.00am to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday.
