Student Achievements

Congratulations to the following students:
Alicia Dale (Year 12), who has been named the 2025 winner of the girls' Pardey Shield, the most prestigious tennis competition in Tasmania. With a history spanning over 100 years, the Pardey Shield is a celebrated tradition, and Alicia now holds the honour of winning it for the fifth time, setting a new record in the competition's history. This is an amazing achievement, Alicia. Well done!
Arabella Butterworth-Barry (Year 11) and Arabella Westthorp (Year 8), who have been honoured by the Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB) for their outstanding musical contributions. A senior cello, Arabella B became the first student from the College to receive the prestigious AMEB Silver Award, recognising her dedication to music, leadership and community engagement. Meanwhile, Arabella W impressed audiences with her heartfelt performance at the AMEB Hall of Famers concert, following her debut at the College's Nanovision competition earlier this year. Bravo!
Annie Keane (Year 10), who has been selected as a state finalist in the 2025 National History Challenge. The National History Challenge encourages students to explore history through research and inquiry-based learning, deepening their understanding of the past and its relevance to the present. State winners for the national awards will be announced at the official ceremony in October. Excellent work, Annie – we are incredibly proud of you!
Milla Brown (Year 4), who has been crowned one of two local ambassadors for the 2025 Betta Milk Royal Hobart Show!
