National Reconciliation Week

National Reconciliation Week, observed last week, saw the school work in partnership with the Department of Education and our school-assigned Koorie Education Support Officer, Tammy Campbell. Dyllen, a Year 8 student was also key in planning and coordinating a positive and meaningful week through Home Group activities, a BBQ, and a chalk drawing activity. An invitation to Mt Beauty Primary School, Tawonga Primary School, and Falls Creek Primary School was extended and it was pleasing to have these students attend the BBQ lunch and activities on Friday. Congratulations to Dyllen and all students for engaging and furthering their understanding of reconciliation “now more than ever”.
