F-2 Class
(Mrs Bush and Ms Thorley)
Term 3 is quickly coming to an end, as is Ms Bush and Ms Thorley’s time in the Juniors’ classroom each day, with Miss Moore returning for her leave. We are making the most of our time together and cherishing these final weeks. We are also very excited about our special event next week — the sleepover!
The students are now a few weeks into enjoying the fun and games of Sunshine Circles on Tuesdays. It has been wonderful to see them building their confidence with speaking and listening, practising calm breathing, and developing their sensory tolerance.
Last week was a massive week of celebrating books as part of Book Week. Each day brought new opportunities to enjoy stories together through whole-school reading, buddy activities, writing, drawing and creating. It was wonderful to see the students embracing their creativity and enthusiasm for books.
The sleepover is now only one week away and is certainly the talk of the classroom! There is lots of excitement and anticipation as we look forward to sharing some very special time together after school hours.
Finally, today we enjoyed celebrating our wonderful dads with a Father’s Day breakfast, as well as showing our appreciation for our fantastic Education Support staff with a special morning tea. We are so grateful for all that you do for our students and our classroom. Please know how much we appreciate you all and the many ways you support our community.
Ms Thorley and Ms Bush.
