Enjoy the term break

As we reach the end of another busy term, the holidays are a wonderful opportunity for our students to rest, recharge and enjoy time with family and friends.

Term breaks don’t need to be filled with lots of activities. Sometimes the best thing children can do is slow down, have a sleep-in, play outside, enjoy a favourite book, or simply have some unstructured time to relax and play.

Here are a few simple ways families can make the most of the break:

  • Get outside – Visit a park, ride a bike, kick a ball or explore somewhere new.
  • Play together – Board games, cards, puzzles and imaginative play are great ways to connect.
  • Keep reading – Encourage children to read books, comics, magazines or anything they enjoy.
  • Connect with family and friends – Spend time talking, laughing and making memories together.
  • Be creative – Draw, build, cook, make, dance or create something new.
  • Rest and recharge – A break from busy routines can help children return to school feeling refreshed.
  • Take a break from screens – Balance screen time with active play, conversation and time outdoors.

Most importantly, enjoy being together. Children benefit enormously from having time to

play, talk, explore and simply be themselves.

We wish all our students and families a safe, happy and relaxing term break. We look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for another great term of learning!
