Important Community Information and Reminders

Chinese LOTE Program Update
Our Chinese LOTE teacher, Candice Xue, will be taking extended leave for the remainder of the 2026 school year. We wish Candice all the very best and look forward to welcoming her back in the future.
We are pleased to share that Ben Morgan has been appointed to the Chinese LOTE teaching position for Terms 3 and 4. Ben is an experienced teacher who has worked extensively at Bimbadeen Heights Primary School as a Casual Relief Teacher over the past two years and is already a familiar face to many of our students and families.
Ben is excited to be transitioning into this role and is working closely with our curriculum leaders to ensure the Chinese LOTE program continues to provide engaging learning opportunities that align with curriculum requirements in both language and cultural studies.
Parking and Active Travel Reminder
As we continue to support safer travel to and from school, we kindly remind all families to observe the parking and stopping restrictions around the school, particularly along Hayrick Lane. These measures help improve traffic flow and, most importantly, keep our students, families and staff safe.
Where possible, we encourage families to consider active travel options such as walking, riding or scooting to school. Not only does active travel support student health and wellbeing, but it also helps reduce congestion around the school at busy drop-off and pick-up times.
Thank you for your ongoing support and cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and positive environment for our school community.

School Uniform Reminder and Support
As we move through the winter months, we kindly remind families of the importance of students attending school each day in full school uniform. Wearing the school uniform helps foster a sense of belonging, pride and community, while also supporting student safety and wellbeing.
We understand that families may occasionally require support accessing uniform items. Second-hand uniform supplies are available, and families experiencing financial hardship may be eligible for assistance through State Schools Relief. If your family would like to discuss available support, please contact Bree King for a confidential conversation.
A copy of the School Uniform Policy is available on our school website. Thank you for your ongoing support in maintaining our high standards of presentation and school pride.
