Celebrating Learning and Looking to the Future

Our College community came together on Monday for a wonderful celebration of learning, achievement and future pathways, with families, students and staff enjoying a range of engaging events across the campus.

The 2027 Subject Selection Expo provided students in Years 8, 9 and 10 with the opportunity to explore the exciting learning opportunities available as they prepare for the next stage of their education. Throughout the day, students attended information sessions tailored to their year level, explored subject displays, and spoke with Learning Leaders and teachers about subjects, interests and future aspirations.

In the evening, many Year 10 families attended the Starting VCE Information Evening, where they gained valuable insights into beginning senior secondary studies at the College. Families learned about both VCE and VCE Vocational Major (VM) pathways and had the opportunity to speak directly with teachers and Learning Leaders about subject selections and future pathways. The strong attendance reflected the importance our families place on supporting students as they make informed decisions about their senior years.

Earlier in the evening, the Junior School Learning Showcase welcomed Year 7 and 8 families into classrooms to celebrate the outstanding learning that has taken place throughout Semester 1. Student work was proudly displayed across a range of learning areas, giving families a firsthand look at the creativity, growth and achievements of our students. Our Class Captains did a fantastic job welcoming visitors, sharing their learning experiences and proudly showcasing the work of their peers.

Adding to the vibrant atmosphere was the Applied Learning Café, operated by our VCE VM students. Families enjoyed coffee and refreshments while seeing our students put their learning into practice by operating a real-world café. It was wonderful to witness the confidence, teamwork, customer service and enterprise skills our students have developed through this authentic learning experience.

The evening was a wonderful reflection of our College community—celebrating student achievement, strengthening partnerships with families, and supporting students as they look ahead to the next stage of their learning journey.
