YEAR 7 KEY INFORMATION: WEEK 2
Year 7 Camp: Echo Creek Adventure Centre
Wednesday 19 August – Friday 21 August (Week 6)
Camp information and permission forms are being emailed directly to parents and carers via the InForm system and will also be available through the MyCE App. Please contact the College if you have any questions regarding the completion of these forms. All permissions must be completed by Friday 31 July.
Please note that the camp venue has changed its name and is now operating as Wild Side Adventure Centre, formerly Echo Creek Adventure Centre.
Timetable Changes and College Diaries
The beginning of Semester 2 has seen adjustments to many students' timetables due to subject changes in other year levels and the relocation of classes to more appropriate learning spaces.
Changes of this nature can cause some students to feel unsettled as they adapt to new routines, classrooms and, in some cases, changes to their uniform schedule. Pastoral Mentors will continue supporting students by encouraging the effective use of their College Diaries to record important changes and stay organised.
We appreciate your support at home by checking in with your child as they adjust to these changes and by signing their College Diary each week to help reinforce good organisational habits.
Uniform – Formal Shoes
As students returned to school this week, it has been pleasing to see so many wearing their uniform with pride. I encourage parents and carers to take a moment to check the condition of their child's black formal shoes, as many would benefit from a clean and polish or leather conditioner.
Regular attention to the condition of these much-worn items will assist in their longevity and ensure that our students are putting their best foot forward in our community.
